The Central Leadership Committee of the G100-backed coalition of opposition parties has resolved to expand its membership to include other opposition parties ahead of the 2027 general elections. The decision was announced in a statement issued in Abuja by Salihu Moh. Lukman on behalf of the Coalition Parties, following the committee's inaugural meeting. The committee was established at the 31 August Summit of Opposition Parties. Current members include the African Democratic Congress, Allied Peoples Movement, Nigeria Democratic Congress, a faction of the Peoples Democratic Party, the Peoples Redemption Party, the Social Democratic Party, and the Democratic Leadership Alliance.
