A foundation member of the All Progressives Congress, Osita Okechukwu, has advised President Bola Tinubu to be wary of what he called 'few pretending governors' within the ruling party. This comes amid a political rivalry between the Progressives Governors Forum, led by Imo State Governor Hope Uzodinma, and the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike. The PGF has described Wike's Rainbow Coalition as a distraction to their efforts to ensure Tinubu's re-election, urging the president to disregard Wike's political alliance due to doubtful loyalty. Okechukwu cautioned the president against being misled by these governors.
