The mutilated corpse of a woman has been found along a stream in the Wildlife Park Forest Reserve in Jos North Local Government Area of Plateau State. The incident was reported at about 9:30 a.m. on Thursday after security operatives responded to a report of the discovery. According to security sources, concerned family members launched a search for the woman after she failed to return home and subsequently discovered her body near a stream within the forest reserve. The corpse was reportedly found with injuries consistent with machete cuts on the arm and face. A staff member of the park, who spoke on condition of anonymity, said workers woke up to the discovery and immediately contacted security operatives.
