Kenya: Building a Culture of Accountability Through Dialogue

The Kenya Defence Forces' Directorate of Oversight, Compliance and Accountability (DOCA) held a Baraza at Defence Headquarters to mark its first anniversary. Major General Mohamed Iddi, Director of DOCA, led the forum, which brought together officers, warrant officers, and senior non-commissioned officers. The event allowed personnel to reflect on DOCA's initial year, share experiences, and discuss procedural challenges. Major General Iddi stressed that oversight should be objective and professional, aimed at strengthening systems and improving organisational performance.
