Prince Adewole Adebayo, the presidential candidate of the Social Democratic Party (SDP), has called on young professionals to actively participate in politics and contribute to addressing Nigeria's development challenges. He made the call on Wednesday in Abuja during an interaction with members of the SDP Young Professionals and the Confederation of West African Youths at the party's national secretariat. Adebayo emphasized that young Nigerians must take ownership of the country's political future and anchor their engagement on the ideals in Chapter Two of the Constitution. He noted that Nigeria requires unity of purpose rather than individual brilliance to achieve meaningful progress, and urged young professionals to reject political apathy.
