Afreximbank has provided a US$10 million finance facility to Azania Bank Plc of Tanzania. The facility is under Afreximbank's Export SME Development Programme. Azania Bank will on-lend the funds to eligible SMEs in export-oriented sectors such as agriculture, manufacturing, trade, technology, logistics, and value-added exports. The initiative is expected to boost productivity, strengthen export capacity, and increase Tanzanian businesses' participation in regional and global value chains.
