The Kano State Police Command has met with the leadership of the Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association of Nigeria (MACBAN) to strengthen measures against farmers-herders conflicts ahead of the harvest season. The meeting, led by Commissioner of Police Ibrahim Adamu Bakori and MACBAN Chairman Captain Abdullahi Adamu Bakoji (rtd), was part of a proactive, intelligence-led policing strategy. Issues discussed included crop destruction, cattle rustling, encroachment on grazing reserves, night grazing, reprisal attacks, and misinformation.
