APM Says It’s Vindicated By Bagudu’s Admission Of Tinubu’s Failure

The Allied Peoples Movement (APM) has stated that the admission by Minister of Budget and Economic Planning, Senator Abubakar Bagudu, that reforms introduced by President Bola Tinubu are responsible for the worsening hardship in the country vindicates its position that the Tinubu administration is anti-people. The party was reacting to Bagudu's remarks at the Federal Appointees Strategic Summit in Abuja on Wednesday, where the Minister said the Tinubu administration did not anticipate the scale of turbulence that hit the global economy. In a statement signed by its National Publicity Secretary, Abubakar Yusuf, the APM described Bagudu's statement as "a gross admission of incompetence" which validates its position that the government lacks a coherent economic blueprint, policy foresight, and adequate safeguards required to manage the nation.
