Lalong, First Lady Defend Tinubu’s Quest For Second Term 

Former Governor of Plateau State, Senator Simon Lalong, and wife of the president, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, have defended the second term quest of President Bola Tinubu, stating that the difficult stabilising measures initiated by the government require time to deliver their full benefits to Nigerians. Lalong, who served as Director-General of Tinubu's presidential campaign organisation in 2023, said Nigerians should return the president in 2027 to enable him complete the reform process. Mrs Tinubu expressed the view that the gains already recorded under the present administration must be consolidated for the benefit of present and future generations. Former speakers also endorsed Tinubu and planned to take the renewed hope message to all 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory.
