Former Vice-President Atiku Abubakar has criticized the Federal Government over the cost of living crisis, questioning how long citizens are expected to endure rising prices. In a statement, he described Nigeria's worsening child malnutrition figures as a disturbing manifestation of the crisis. He warned that economic hardship threatens the physical development and future of millions of Nigerian children. Recent data shows that 41.1% of children under five are stunted, with 19.2% severely stunted, and nearly two million children suffering from severe acute malnutrition.
