A witness for the Department of State Services (DSS) testified at the Federal High Court in Abuja about the ordeal of 49 students and teachers abducted from schools in Orire Local Government Area of Oyo State. The victims were held for 56 days and moved through six locations, forced to sleep on grass under harsh weather conditions. The witness, identified as AAA, stated that children as young as one and a half years old were among the captives. They were eventually rescued by security forces.
