A mutilated female corpse was discovered along a stream in the Wildlife Park Forest Reserve in Jos North Local Government Area of Plateau State. The body was found at about 9:30 a.m. on Thursday after security operatives responded to a report of an abandoned body. Family members had launched a search for the woman after she failed to return home and subsequently found her body near the stream. The corpse reportedly had machete injuries on the arm and face. A park staff member, speaking anonymously, said workers discovered the body and immediately contacted security operatives, who commenced initial investigations.
