The Anseba Region's program commemorating the 50th anniversary of the establishment of Revolution School commenced on 16 September at Asneda semi-urban center in Asmat sub-zone under the theme "Vibrant Commemoration: New Impetus for Nation Building." Ambassador Abdella Musa, Minister of Local Government, officially opened the program, and former students lit a commemorative torch. Mr. Ibrahim Mahmud, representative of the administrator of Asmat sub-zone, stated that Revolution School provided educational opportunities to young people from across the country who had fled enemy atrocities and contributed to instilling love of country and passing on national values. Mr. Ibrahim Ekud, head of the education office in the sub-zone, noted that the four Revolution Schools established in 1981 in Jani, Embelday, Embiret, and Asmat initially provided education to 273 students, including 38 female students.
