The Super Falconets of Nigeria have reached the quarter-final of the FIFA Under-20 Women's World Cup in Poland with a 3-0 win over England on Thursday. In the round-of-16 encounter at the Bielsko-Biala Stadium, Nigeria took the lead on eight minutes through Tosin Rafiu, who netted a solo effort. England had a chance to equalise from the penalty spot, but goalkeeper Christiana Uzoma tipped the kick onto the bar before gathering the ball. The Moses Aduku-led team doubled their lead two minutes into the second half, with goals also scored by Janet Akekoromowe and Mary Mmadu.
