The Oyo State Police Command has presented insurance cheques totalling ₦37,889,857.87 to families of 38 police officers who died in the line of duty. The cheques were presented by the Commissioner of Police, Oyo State Command, CP Olugbenga Ayodeji Abimbola, during a ceremony held at the command. The event took place on Thursday, September 17, 2026.
