President Bola Tinubu has commended the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) arbitration tribunal's judgment in Paris, which dismissed Sunrise Power and Transmission Company Ltd's $2.35 billion claim. The tribunal ordered Sunrise and its promoter, Mr. Leno Adesanya, to refund most of Nigeria's $11.82 million legal bill. The award removes a major legal hurdle that had stalled the 3,960MW Mambilla Hydroelectric Power Project in Taraba State for over two decades.
