The Kaduna State University chapter of the Academic Staff Union of Universities has suspended its strike. The suspension followed Governor Senator Uba Sani's approval to implement the 2025 FGN/ASUU agreement. The University Governing Council and Management also approved the commencement of payment of accrued nine-month arrears covering the period from January.
