Orlando Modesti, an Argentine architect, passed away, leaving behind a legacy of contributions to Nigeria's architectural landscape. Born in 1944, he studied architecture in Argentina before working in Rome and London for renowned architect Norman Foster. He moved to Nigeria in 1978 and, after a brief stint in Los Angeles, returned in 1980, forming a partnership with Miguel Cabrera in 1988. His work and life in Nigeria spanned over four decades.
