The Inspector-General of Police, Olatunji Disu, has assured parents that their children are safe in schools across the country. He gave the assurance during the flag-off of the Police Community Relations Committee’s Safe School Initiative in Abuja on Thursday. The committee mobilized 10,000 volunteers and commenced the deployment of CCTV cameras to schools. The initiative aims to enhance security in educational institutions.
