Saudi Arabia has rejected Nigeria's request for an increase in its 2027 Hajj allocation, leaving the country with its approved quota of 50,000 pilgrims. This decision means Nigeria will not be able to send additional pilgrims beyond the allocated number. The rejection comes as Nigerian authorities sought to accommodate more pilgrims for the annual Islamic pilgrimage.
