Former First Lady Aisha Buhari has paid a visit to the presidential candidate of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), Atiku Abubakar, in Abuja. Atiku disclosed the meeting in a post on his social media platforms on Wednesday, describing the visit as warm and deeply appreciated. He decried Nigeria's worsening child-malnutrition figures, describing it as one of the most disturbing manifestations of the country's cost-of-living crisis. The Catholic Bishops Conference of Nigeria (CBCN) also called on government at all levels to tackle insecurity and ease the financial burden on poor Nigerians.
