The Osun State Government has approved the establishment of a Joint Security Taskforce to strengthen security response and alertness to threats to lives and property. The decision followed a recent security alert and was adopted at the State Security Council meeting convened by Governor Ademola Adeleke and presided over by Deputy Governor Kola Adewusi. The government declared its readiness to provide all necessary logistics to support the taskforce in protecting lives and property throughout the state. The deputy governor conveyed the governor's best wishes to service commanders and urged them not to relent in the face of fresh security threats.
