The Naira depreciated to N1,375 per dollar in the parallel market on Thursday, down from N1,370 on Wednesday. In the Nigerian Foreign Exchange Market, the local currency fell to N1,331 per dollar from N1,329.56, according to Central Bank of Nigeria data. This represents a depreciation of N1.44 for the naira. Consequently, the margin between the parallel and official markets widened to N44 per dollar from N40.44.
