The Chairman of the Federal Capital Territory Football Association (FCT FA), Adam Mouktar Mohammed, attended the World Football Summit 2026 in Madrid, Spain, to build international partnerships and attract investment into Nigerian football. The summit brings together football federations, clubs, leagues, investors, technology companies, and commercial partners. Mohammed said the gathering is part of a broader drive to connect Nigerian football with successful international models in governance, youth development, infrastructure, technology, investment, and commercialization. He noted that Nigeria has the talent, population, passion, and market to become a major football economy.
