The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) will conduct bye-elections in five constituencies across four states on Saturday, September 19, 2026. The Commission disclosed this in a post on its official X handle @inecnigeria. According to INEC, the affected constituencies are Gombe/Kwami/Funakaye Federal Constituency in Gombe State, Dawakin Kudu State Constituency in Kano State, Sakwa and other constituencies in Bauchi and Delta States. The bye-elections are scheduled to fill vacant positions in those areas.
