Personnel of the Directorate of Road Traffic Services (DRTS) and police officers working with the FCT Ministerial Taskforce were attacked in Abuja's Life Camp area. The incident occurred after the team concluded a routine enforcement operation and was returning. Seven personnel, including four police officers and three DRTS officials, were injured in the ambush by suspected scavengers and commercial motorcycle operators. The FCT DRTS spokesperson confirmed the incident and condemned attacks on personnel during lawful enforcement exercises.
