Kano will benefit significantly from Dangote Refinery IPO — Emir Sanusi

The Emir of Kano, His Royal Highness Khalifa Muhammadu Sanusi II, has urged individuals, entrepreneurs, and businesses in Kano State to consider investing in the Dangote Petroleum Refinery and Petrochemicals Limited Initial Public Offering (IPO). He described equity ownership as an opportunity for long-term wealth creation and economic empowerment. The IPO opened on Monday and will last till October 13, 2026, offering 4.1 billion shares at N525 each, with a minimum subscription of 10 shares worth N5,250. Sanusi spoke at the Dangote Refinery 'People's IPO' sensitisation roadshow in Kano, saying the state's tradition of commerce and enterprise positioned its people to benefit from the capital market.
