Why We Asked NDLEA To Investigate Bello El-Rufai Over Alleged Cocaine Use – Constituents

Some constituents of Kaduna North Federal Constituency have petitioned the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) seeking an independent investigation into a publicly reported allegation of cocaine use involving their representative, Mohammed Bello El-Rufai. The petition, dated 8th September 2026, was signed by Abubakar Hayatu and Musa Tukur, following allegations made on social media on 29th August by Bashir El-Rufai, the lawmaker's brother. The constituents stated they are not asking the NDLEA to presume guilt but want the matter assessed independently.
