The Anambra State Police Command has increased security deployments to schools and strategic locations as the new academic session begins. Spokesperson Tochukwu Ikenga said the operation is part of the Inspector-General of Police's Safe School Initiative, supervised by ACP Harrison Oruruo. The deployment involves police personnel, sister security agencies, and stakeholders to enhance safety around educational institutions. It also includes sensitizing students on personal security and assisting with safe road crossings.
