The feud between All Progressives Congress (APC) governors and Federal Capital Territory Minister Nyesom Wike has deepened, with APC leadership in the South-East backing the Progressive Governors' Forum's demand for full party support for all APC candidates in the 2027 general elections. In another development, President Bola Tinubu commended the International Chamber of Commerce arbitration tribunal in Paris for dismissing Sunrise Power and Transmission Company Ltd's claims and ordering the firm and its promoter, Leno Adesanya, to refund most of Abuja's $11.82 million legal bill. Additionally, Dele Oye, Chairman of the Alliance for Economic Research and Ethics, stated that Nigeria's economy remains under severe strain despite attracting $10.37 billion in capital inflows.
