Oracle exec tells workers that its own AI rollout didn't go so smoothly

Oracle co-CEO Clay Magouyrk told employees during an internal town hall that the company's own AI rollout did not go smoothly. As recently as a year ago, Oracle had not found broad internal uses for generative AI tools. This changed in the spring when Oracle rolled out OpenAI's ChatGPT and Codex, achieving 80% adoption among employees. While employees now write code faster, new bottlenecks have emerged.
