The Anambra State Government has stated that deductions are still being made from the state's monthly Federation Account Allocation Committee (FAAC) revenue to service loans obtained during the administration of former Governor Peter Obi. Commissioner for Information and Value Reorientation, Law Mefor, disclosed this during an interview on Arise Television, amid an ongoing dispute over the financial records of Obi's tenure. Mefor emphasized that the loans, some of which were guaranteed by the Federal Government, still require repayment.
