Engr. Toyin Zacheous Okoro, the APC candidate for Ise-Orun/Ikere/Ekiti South-West federal constituency in the 2027 elections, appeared before the ICPC in Abuja on Thursday over alleged fraud. He arrived at the ICPC headquarters at about 2pm following a formal invitation dated September 7, 2026, signed by Oshinyemi Oluwaseun, ICPC Head of Special Duty Team. The ICPC is investigating Okoro for alleged violation of the Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Act 2000. Before winning the APC ticket, Okoro served as a Senior Legislative Aide to the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Hon. Tajudeen Abbas.
