Political stakeholders have been cautioned against treating Nigerian youths as visitors in the nation's political process. The warning was given by Dr Femi Owolabi, Special Adviser to the Ekiti State Governor on Research and Documentation, during a City Boy Movement (CBM) town hall meeting and state inauguration in Ado Ekiti, themed 'Leaving no one behind'. Hon. Francis Shoga, National Director-General of CBM, expressed the movement's determination to grow its membership to 10 million nationwide to support President Bola Tinubu's re-election bid ahead of the 2027 polls. Owolabi stressed that while voting is important, active participation of young people in politics is crucial.
