State coordinators of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors (RHA) have cautioned Minister of the Federal Capital Territory Nyesom Wike and other APC stakeholders against political actions that could weaken the party's structures ahead of the 2027 general elections. In a statement signed by representatives from various geopolitical zones, the coordinators said support for President Bola Tinubu's re-election from politicians and groups outside the APC should not undermine the party's candidates, governors, or structures at state and local government levels. They also backed the Progressive Governors Forum's position that APC governors have responsibilities to both President Tinubu and candidates contesting on the party's platform. The statement comes amid attention on the emerging Rainbow Coalition associated with Wike and its reported plans to mobilise support for Tinubu.
