AAC presidential candidate Omoyele Sowore has proposed how the Nigerian government can fund a N500,000 minimum wage. He said his calculations show that between N3 trillion and N4 trillion could be saved by eliminating waste in government. Sowore made the suggestion in the context of the 2027 elections. He argued that cutting unnecessary spending would free up resources for higher wages.
