The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) and the Federal Ministry of Finance have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on Monetary-Fiscal Policy Coordination. The agreement aims to strengthen collaboration between the two institutions to achieve macroeconomic management, economic stability, and sustainable prosperity. CBN Governor Olayemi Cardoso and Minister of Finance Taiwo Oyedele signed the MoU at the CBN headquarters in Abuja. Cardoso stated that the deal represents a shared commitment to deepen collaboration for the benefit of the economy and the Nigerian public.
