Troops of the Joint Task Force (North East), Operation HADIN KAI, successfully foiled terrorist attacks on Forward Operating Bases in Gajiram, Nganzai Local Government Area, and Mairari, Guzamala Local Government Area of Borno State. The operation resulted in the neutralization of four terrorists and the recovery of four corpses, AK-47 rifles, magazines, ammunition, RPG bombs, and a camcorder. Additionally, two Jama'atu Ahlis Sunna Lidda'awati wal-Jihad terrorists, including a commander, surrendered with their weapons due to sustained military pressure. Troops who sustained injuries during the engagement were stabilized and airlifted to a hospital for medical attention.
