A roadside engine oil vendor, Ibrahim Mohammed Dada, was hit by a stray bullet at Tunga Market in Minna, Niger State, during a protest over the deaths of 37 artisanal miners in NSCDC custody. Security operatives fired shots and teargas to disperse the crowds. Dada is in critical condition at Minna General Hospital. The protest began on Thursday and continued on Friday.
