A Federal High Court in Abuja has ruled that not possessing an NYSC certificate is not a ground for disqualifying a candidate in a senatorial election. Justice Joyce Abdulmalik delivered the judgment in a suit seeking to disqualify Senator Stella Oduah as the APGA candidate for Anambra North Senatorial District in the 2027 election. The suit was filed by an APGA aspirant, John Okechukwu Emeka. The court dismissed the suit against APGA and Oduah.
