Minister of Solid Minerals Development, Dele Alake, has mourned the death of detainees in Niger State who were held for alleged illegal mining. In a statement, he commiserated with their families and the Niger State government, and commended Governor Mohammed Umaru Bago for quickly handling the tension caused by the incident. Alake also deployed investigators to look into the matter.
