The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has demanded an immediate, independent, and transparent investigation into the deaths of 37 Nigerians in the custody of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps in Niger State. In a statement signed by National Publicity Secretary Bolaji Abdullahi, the party called for independent autopsies and the publication of findings. The ADC's demand follows the deaths of the individuals, who were described as illegal miners.
