Armed bandits have abducted the traditional ruler of the Aujarawar Alkali community in Gezawa Local Government Area of Kano State. The monarch, Ahmad Yakubu Ahmad, popularly known as Ruwata, was reportedly kidnapped during a late-night attack on the community on Thursday, September 17, 2026. The attackers were said to have thrown residents into panic and uncertainty.
