The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has demanded an immediate, independent and transparent investigation into the deaths of 37 persons in the custody of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) in Niger State. The party's National Publicity Secretary, Mallam Bolaji Abdullahi, said the incident raised concerns about the value of human life. The ADC also called for an autopsy.
