Sokoto State Governor Ahmed Aliyu Sokoto on Thursday condoled with the Sultan of Sokoto, His Eminence Muhammad Sa’ad Abubakar III, over the death of his stepmother, Hajiya Nana Asma’u, who passed away last Tuesday. Governor Aliyu described her death as a great loss not only to the royal family but also to the wider community. He offered his sympathies and prayers during the condolence visit.
