Mbappé Ends Nike Partnership, Joins Swiss Sportswear Brand On

France captain Kylian Mbappé has ended his two-decade partnership with Nike and signed with Swiss sportswear company On, which is making its entry into football. On announced the agreement on Friday on their website, confirming that Mbappé will become the centrepiece of its new football venture and work directly with its product teams on the development and testing of future football footwear and apparel. The deal brings to an end Mbappé’s long-standing association with Nike, which began when he was a teenager. The Real Madrid forward had become one of the American sportswear giant’s leading football ambassadors. On, founded in 2010 and traditionally known for running and tennis products, plans to launch its first football boots in 2027 as it seeks to establish a presence in the sport. Mbappé said the opportunity to help develop a new football range was central to his decision to join the Swiss company.
