The United States Peace Corps in Malawi welcomed 11 new volunteers who will serve in the health and education sectors. A swearing-in ceremony was held, coinciding with the Peace Corps' 65th anniversary. Over the next two years, the volunteers will live and work alongside Malawian communities to advance development, mutual understanding, and friendship. Since 1963, more than 3,000 Peace Corps Volunteers have served in Malawi.
