A young woman operating a Point of Sale (PoS) business was reportedly crushed to death by a speeding vehicle at Orozo Junction in the Federal Capital Territory. The incident occurred at about 3pm on Thursday along the Orozo-Pianko road corridor, near Living Faith Church. The victim was attending to customers at her PoS stand when the vehicle veered off the road and struck her; she was said to be with her fiancé at the time. Residents have renewed concerns over reckless driving on the newly opened Keffi-Abuja highway, particularly along the Orozo, Karshi, and Pianko axis, and are demanding speed breakers. Some eyewitnesses alleged the driver may have been under the influence of alcohol, but the claim could not be independently verified.
