The Kwararafa Development Forum has called on the Federal Government to intensify efforts to secure the region, improve infrastructure, and unlock its agricultural and mineral resources. Prof. Yakubu Ochefu, Chairman of the Media and Publicity Committee, identified insecurity as the most pressing challenge. He noted that the security situation undermines economic activities in Plateau, Benue, Kogi, Niger, and Taraba states. The forum emphasized the region's potential as Nigeria's food basket and mineral deposit hub.
