Retirees in Cross River State have appealed for pension adjustment and payment of gratuities. The Chairman of the Association of Retirees in the state, Daniel Effiong, claimed that some retirees receive as little as N4,000 monthly, which he described as grossly inadequate to meet basic needs, including food and medication.
